Makers Application

Applications are now closed! Congratulations to our vendors and we look forward to seeing everyone on October 14th!

Do you want to be a part of Kansas City’s newest faire, Grimm’s Indie?

We hope to fill a niche that is unrecognized in KC. We want to help makers who walk on the “dark side” of the arts and crafts world.

Creations that are inspired by Grimm’s fairytales, lowbrow, popsurrealism, mythology, steampunk, cyberpunk, Halloween, and various other genres are welcome!

To answer an important question: submitted works don’t have to be creepy! Scary isn’t the goal of Grimm’s Indie!

It’s true that we have an emphasis on dark fairytales, BUT we also are interested in new contemporary, lowbrow, pop surrealism, truly independent crafts, and genre arts such as goth, steampunk, and cyberpunk. We also accept oddities vendors.

A great example of compilations that showcase art like this are:

Do you wonder if your work fits our theme? Feel free to shoot us an email at info@grimmsindie.org with a photo and we’ll check it out and let you know!

*We do not accept MLM tables. This includes Scentsy, Avon, leggings, and many other businesses. We ONLY accept creations that are made by the artisans or oddities*

What are oddities? Have a look at Noir Arts & Oddities!

Applications require a minimum $20 donation that is not refundable. Any profits made by Grimm’s Indie are donated to our nonprofit partners. If you are accepted, your $20 application is put toward your total booth ($70) or table ($55) fee.

Notifications of acceptance will be sent by September 1st!
