We regret to inform everyone that Holly Messinger, author extraordinaire, is unable to attend Grimm’s Indie Faire this year after all. We wish Holly all the best!
Holly Messinger is a writer, costumer, and martial artist with a fetish for the late 19th century.
Her debut novel, The Curse of Jacob Tracy, was given a starred review by Publisher’s Weekly, and described by Diabolique Magazine.com as “a hybrid, part western and part horror, [melding] the genres with skill and aplomb.” The novel has since been optioned for TV and she is hard at work on the sequel, Curious Weather, due out in late 2018 from St. Martin’s Press. Holly has a passion for lemon desserts, silk dresses and bladed weapons, and has been known to teach parasol self-defense workshops in a corset and bustle. She lives in Lawrence with her husband, a woodworker, and their cat Rudy, a serial killer.
